2020 was a turbulent year under the harsh impacts of the pandemic. As healthcare governance gains traction among the international community, the ASEAN Youth Symposium on Healthcare: The Way Forward in Affordable and Accessible Healthcare focused on promoting Universal Health Coverage, especially for the marginalized from the perspectives of Civil-Society Organisations.

The ASEAN Youth Symposium on Healthcare comprised one committee where all delegates represented different regional Civil-Society Organizations and International Organizations to produce a policy paper for ASEAN at the end of the conference. The content discussed included:

Speakers' Sharing
To bring in real-world experience in research and CSO work, the event invited Ms Ng Yeen Seen (Founder and CEO of the Centre for Research, Advisory and Technology), Dr. Qiang (Braven) Zhang (Professor at Beijing Normal University School of Social Development and Public Policy), Ms Hla Hla Win (Founder and CEO of 360ed), and Dr. Zhang Lei (PhD Holder at PKU School of International Studies) to join the speakers’ sharing.
